This pattern drafting course is for beginner to intermediate level learners where you will start with basic measurement taking and how to take different lines and shapes to create your own set of blocks. During the course you will learn various menswear and womenswear tops and bottoms’ patterns as well as different kind of sleeves and cuffs, collars and belt. You will also develop an understanding of dart manipulation and how to create York. On the completion of this course, you will be confident enough to create life size patterns as well ¼ scale for your portfolio development.
This course will enable you to seek employment as an assistant pattern drafter or help in developing ideas, portfolios and skills for further education.
