Topic : Open Houses

Trebas Institute, a private college specializing in career training for the entertainment industry, will be holding an open house on September 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm. The open house, held at the Toronto campus(2340 Dundas Street West, 2nd Floor), involves all of Trebas’ entertaining training programs, including: Audio Engineering and Production/DJ Arts; Film and Television Production and Postproduction; Entertainment Management; and Event and Venue Management.

Attendees will have the chance to meet the Trebas administrative staff, discuss program specifics with department heads and talk with past graduates. Best of all, though, the Trebas Institute open house will provide attendees with an in-depth tour of the campus facilities, which include cutting-edge, industry standard recording, editing and mixing equipment and studios. Refreshments will also be served.

Established in 1979, Trebas Institute was created in response to the music and entertainment industry’s need for skilled professionals. Since then, Trebas has been a trusted industry source for highly trained audio production engineers, event planners, entertainment managers and event and venue managers. With experienced (and celebrity) instructors, Trebas focuses on practical, hands-on training with concentrated programs. This focus emphasizes core concepts and ensures that graduates are fully prepared to step into any industry workforce.

Trebas Institute was the first digital audio school in North America, and the first to introduce 3D Film production training. It was registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
