RUSSIA, ARKHANGELSK - DECEMBER 14, 2014: 1-st stage children's hockey League bandy, Russia

Too often, young athletes are faced with one of the most difficult decision they ever have to make—should they pursue their dreams and sacrifice their education, or continue their studies and risk losing their shot at a sport’s career? This struggle has finally prompted one particular educational institution to ponder whether they could instead have both.

This September, a new school is opening in Kitchener, Ontario, which will provide young hockey hopefuls with the opportunity to improve their hockey skills, and receive a quality education too. The Victus Academy operation in the Sportsworld Arena will offer both, training in the sport and an education based on the Ontario curriculum, to young girls and boys. The school will be accepting students from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
