Montreal, Quebec’s McGill University offers a wide range of delicious food items across its many dining halls. In addition to its diverse meal options and convenient meal plans, the school’s dining services also focus on sustainability, ethical practices and student health.
According to McGill’s website, students dining in one of its many on-campus eateries are promised five things, these include:
- Meals that are created using “fresh, local ingredients from the university’s Macdonald Farm.”
- Fair trade coffee, tea and chocolate.
- Food items that meet the needs of those with dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free)
- Sustainable seafood.
- Chefs who have a passion for “creating delicious, savory meals that are healthy too.”
Of course, McGill students have far more dining options than just the school’s dining halls. In fact, there’s a Bento Sushi joint, a Premiere Moisson, and a Subway right on campus as well!
