Welcome to Schools Training Top 10, a weekly roundup of the best and most interesting stories in education. Over the next ten weeks we will profile a range of colleges that are recognized for their beautiful and unique campuses.

#7 on our list of most beautiful campuses in the world goes to Pepperdine University—a Christian University that sits atop 830-acres of elevated land which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Students who love heat, sun and breath-taking views need not look any further!

Located in Malibu, California, Pepperdine is quite possibly one of the loveliest places to pursue a university education. While many will likely agree that you can’t beat living in the school’s student dorms—which are located minutes from the Pacific Ocean—the university does in fact have far more to offer than just a quiet place to sit in the sun.

Many of the campus’ main buildings embody Mediterranean architecture. Most are clad in off-white stucco and feature terracotta roofs, such as the Keck Science Center building.

One of the most recognizable buildings on campus is the Phillips Theme Tower: a tall and narrow tower that boasts a large cross. This building symbolizes the school’s commitment to its Christian mission and goals.
