Welcome to Schools Training Top 10, a weekly roundup of the best and most interesting stories in education. Over the next ten weeks we will profile a range of colleges that are recognized for their beautiful and unique campuses.

Dublin’s Trinity College ranks #5 on our list of most beautiful campuses around the world. Cobblestoned roads surround the college and a range of 18th– and 19th-century styled buildings grace its campus.

Not only is Trinity College’s campus one of the most visited tourist sites in all of Dublin, but its Old Library Building was actually founded by Queen Elizabeth in 1592!

The Old Library

The Old Library seems like something that was taken straight out of a book-lover’s dream, as it houses more than 200,000 of Ireland’s oldest books. The library might also appeal to artsy students, since some of its bookcases hold marble busts of prominent writers and philosophers. The fourteen busts that are kept in the Old Library were created in 1743 by sculptor Peter Scheemakeres.
