Canadian Tourism College has been recognized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), as Americas Top IATA Authorized Training Centre (ATC) for 2011.

Ismail Albaidhani, IATA’s Head of Distant Learning stated, “I would like to congratulate Canadian Tourism College for being selected. Your role in developing the human capital of our industry in your country by reaching out to the next generation of leaders is crucial and IATA strongly recognizes and supports your efforts.”

This prestigious award was based on the number of students CTC trained and the students’ successful pass rate of IATA’s Foundations Level curriculum in 2010.

CTC has been the industry leader in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and Flight Attendant training since 1980 and has been recognized by many worldwide industry organizations for their excellence in preparing students with the skills required in the world of tourism and hospitality.

IATA is an international trade body created over 60 years ago by a group of airlines. Today, IATA represents some 230 airlines comprising 93% of scheduled international air traffic. The organization also represents leads and serves the airline industry in general.
