Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology

The Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology is well-deserving of its motto, “Great Things Happen Here.” Nestled comfortably on a 720-acre wooded retreat, Canadore is the premiere choice for students looking to specialize in aviation, health sciences, IT, law, and much more.

Located in beautiful North Bay, Parry Sound, Ontario, Canadore College offers students the opportunity to pursue their studies on both a full- and part-time basis, allowing them to plan their classes around their own schedule, not vice-versa. More students graduate from Canadore than any other public college in Ontario, which is due in part to the professional faculty that puts the student first. Teachers utilize the latest technology to stay in touch with their students and keep them engaged. The college also realizes the importance of keeping classes smaller in order for professors to stay connected with students and offer help and guidance as needed.

Canadore offers more than 80 full-time academic programs and dozens of part-time programs. Students can specialize in any of the schools that Canadore offers:

– School of Aviation
– School of Business & Management
– School of Community, Justice, & Police Studies
– School of Culinary Arts
– School of Environmental Studies & Biotechnology
– School of Health, Human Care & Wellness
– School of Indigenous Studies
– School of Language, Access, & Preparatory Studies
– School of Media, Design, & Dramatic Arts
– School of Sport & Recreation
– School of Trades & Technology

In addition to exceptional academic programs, Canadore also offers a comfortable atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to socialize and relax after class. The Wall Bar & Grillhouse is a college-owned restaurant that is a hotspot for students to kick back and have a great time with friends. They can also cheer on their fellow Panthers at one of the many volleyball, basketball, football and hockey games on campus. There are also three Tim Hortons locations on campus.

The Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology has proven itself to be a great resource for students looking to develop their academic and professional careers. 36,000 alumni and 1,000 graduating students every year can attest to that!
