The Thomson Career College was founded in 1999, in Kamloops BC. It was created to give comprehensive training to students in providing for the Canadian Health Care Industry, such as Medical Transcriptionist or Nursing Unit Clerk, including the only Pharmacy Technician program in British Columbia to be fully accredited with the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. Graduates learn in a warm and support environment designed to nurture career success and hands on learning.

While many of the programs are “On Site”, they also offer the option of joining a “Blended Program”, where students finish the bulk of their workload through distance learning. This allows students from outside of the province the ability to take part in their high quality training courses without needing to move cities and incur higher costs.

It is located at 774 Victoria street, in Kamloops British Columbia, a stones throw away from the Trans-Canada Highway, and near several Inns and Hotels for a student finishing the on-site portion of their Blended Program courses.
